Agreement

This website is operated by The Nehemiah Foundation, Inc. (“the Foundation,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Information only, not advice

The content on this site is general information about the Foundation, its programs and the Education Freedom Tax Credit. It is not tax, legal, financial or investment advice. Tax rules can change and every situation is different, so please consult your own tax advisor before making decisions. We are not affiliated with the IRS or the U.S. Treasury.

Calculators and estimates

Any calculator or example on this site gives an estimate only. Your actual tax credit or deduction depends on your own tax situation and on current law.

Gifts

Online gifts are processed by our third-party payment processor under its terms. Gifts are generally final. If you believe a gift was made in error, please contact us promptly. How each kind of gift is accepted is described on our Give pages. A pledge or pre-registration is not a gift and creates no obligation.

Scholarships

Information about scholarships describes our current policies. It does not guarantee that any applicant will receive an award, or the amount of any award. Eligibility and awards are governed by the policies adopted by our board.

Your use of the site

Please use the site only for lawful purposes. Don’t attempt to interfere with the site, gain unauthorized access to it, or use it to send unsolicited messages. Information you submit through our forms must be accurate and your own.

Our content

Text, images, logos and other content on this site belong to the Foundation or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print and share pages for personal, noncommercial use with credit to the Foundation. Please ask before using our content for any other purpose.

Links to other sites

The site links to websites we don’t control, such as our payment processor, partner organizations and government agencies. We aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties of any kind about its content, availability or freedom from errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation and its directors, officers, volunteers and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the Foundation is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
